What is Op All Night?

In short, Op All Night is a website that allows anyone, anywhere, at anytime to write opinionated articles about anything they feel like.

That sounds too broad, are there any rules?

Yes. Articles must be written about something topical; it cannot only apply to you. Also, articles must be written in language that is suitable for everyone to read. No profanity, please.

Do you actually accept articles written by anyone? Can they really be written about any topic?

As long as an article meets the rules listed above, yes, articles can be written by anyone about anything. Even if we don’t have a category already listed on our site for a topic you would like to write about you may submit an article, and our publisher will create a new category for it to be listed under.

I want to write an article. How can I submit it when it’s complete?

Articles can be submitted via e-mail to publish@opallnight.com. Please include the topic of your article in the subject line. For more information about article submission, check out our Submit! page.

How can I be sure that my article isn’t going to be altered once I e-mail it?

Op All Night is 100% against media bias. You can be confident that the content of your article will published as you intended it to be. Before publishing any article, our staff edits articles for grammar and spelling only. After the grammatical changes are made, you will receive a reply with the changes that were made to your article. Then, and only with your permission, the article will be published.

Will my name appear as the author of my article?

Yes, but only with your permission. We prefer that authors use their real name but you are allowed to use a ‘pen name’ if you’d rather. We ask that those submitting more than one article in their lifetime publish under the same name with every article so people can search your name to see what else you have written. This is of benefit to both our writers and our readers.

How long does it take for my article to be published?

Please give us up to 3 days to publish your article. In most cases, it will be published much faster than that.

Who has the rights to my articles once they are published?

At Op All Night, we believe that any article an author writes belongs to him/her only. We are thankful that you are willing to share your opinions on our site and will never steal your work or take credit for it. Articles may not be republished on any website without the author’s permission. See our Policy page for more information.

Can I become a member of Op All Night?

Unfortunately, we are not offering memberships at this time. As our site grows, a membership feature will be included. In the meantime, you may ‘follow’ the site to receive e-mail updates.

Is Op All Night hiring?

Currently, we are not hiring but as our site grows so will our company. If you have over 5 years of experience in computer programming, please e-mail your resume and cover letter to jobs@opallnight.com. Again, we are not hiring at the moment, but a resume submission now could lead to a job when we are ready to expand in the coming months as we are always accepting applications.
